    Oregon Parks and Recreation Department
  • The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) is a state agency that receives direction from the Executive branch of the Oregon state government. As an executive branch state agency, we must abide by certain statewide policies including the policy, "Discrimination and Harassment Free Workplace."

OPRD is committed to providing a discrimination and harassment free work environment for all staff, volunteers, visitors, and anyone who engaged with our Department. As representatives of OPRD and the state of Oregon, volunteers will maintain a safe, harassment and violence-free (physical, sexual, or verbal) environment at all times.

If you have any questions about this policy, please reach out to an OPRD volunteer coordinator or an OPRD Manager for more information.
