  • Thank you for your interest in attending the College of Southern Maryland. This form is intended to serve as a guide for international applicants to CSM.

    While completing this form, you will be asked to submit a number of documents - please ensure that these documents are fully and correctly completed before uploading them and submitting your form.

    All documents must be correctly submitted through this form by the following deadlines for entry into the appropriate semester:

    • June 15th for the Fall Semester
    • October 15th for the Spring Semester
    • March 15th for the Summer Semester

  • An application to CSM is required in order to be admitted.

    If you have not yet submitted an application to CSM, please do so by visiting our website here.

    You will be asked to create an account before starting and submitting your application.

  • All college transcripts that come from institutions outside of the United States must be evaluated by World Education Services (WES), Education Credential Evaluators (ECE), or Josef Silny & Associates (JSA). 

  • Please download and complete CSM's International Student Transfer Form.

    This form will need to be completed both by you and your DSO at the college you currently attend or last attended.

  • If English is not recognized as your country's primary language, you are required to complete the TOEFL exam or the Duolingo exam.

  • Please download and complete the CSM Supplemental Information for I-20 Request form.

  • Please download and complete the CSM Declaration of Financial Support for International Students.

    While completing the Declaration of Financial Support, please note that you will be required to submit supplemental materials based on the sources of funds that you select. 

    Please review the document closely to see what supplemental materials are required. All supplemental materials should display currency values in U.S. dollars. Supplemental materials can be uploaded below, along with the form itself.

    Please also note that your financial sponsor's signature must be notarized.

    It may take a few moments for the upload process to complete - please do not click Submit multiple times.

    When your documents are received, CSM will begin its review.

    If your documentation is incomplete, or if any additional information is needed, you will be contacted. If approved, after you are issued an F1 visa and are in the United States, you will be contacted by a CSM International Enrollment Coordinator to complete course registration.
