Student Fellows will be working full-time (40 hours/week), closely and collaboratively, with team members for the duration of the 10-week program. Daily attendance is important and expected.

DSSG participants are expected to engage in program activities full-time every business day (Mon-Fri except holidays) from June 12-August 18, 2023. Absences cannot be accommodated during the first two and final two weeks of the program (June 12-23 and August 7-18). During the middle six weeks of the program (June 1-August 4), applicants may miss up to two days of the program for pre-existing commitments. Such absences must be requested in advance, and appropriate arrangements must be made with teammates. Please check the box below to indicate that you can comply with these policies.*

The UW DSSG fellowship will take place at the eScience Institute’s Data Science Studio. Fellows are required to be on campus during most regular business hours, with some flexibility for teams to decide when remote work is acceptable under certain conditions.
