Speakers
Terms and Conditions Agreement
1. Speaker Agreement: between the Atlantic Security Conference (“Organizer”) and {contactName} ("Speaker") is valid from the date it is fully executed through the end of the event.
2. Speaker Marketing Use Agreement: Sponsor may use the following tag lines on its marketing materials during the term of this Sponsorship Agreement: “Official Speaker of the Atlantic Security Conference” and/or “Official Speaker of AtlSecCon”.
3. Production Timeline: In order for Organizer to fulfill all promotional benefits the Speaker agrees to meet all Organizer related submission deadlines:
Bio & Photo: completed as part of the on-line speaker submission
Digital Presentation: April 13, 2023
4. Speaker Name & Photo Usage Agreement: Speaker agrees to allow Organizer to use Speaker’s name and photo solely to perform and fulfill its obligations under this agreement.
5. Speaker Name & Photo Usage: Notwithstanding Section 4 above, Speaker agrees to allow Organizer the right to use Speaker’s name and/or photo as part of the marketing and promotions activities for the conference.
6. Web Reference: Speaker may publish an Internet hyperlink from Speaker’s website to the event-specific website, and maintain the hyperlink as an active, functional, and correct link to the websites through the duration of the event and thereafter unless removal is requested by Organizer.
8. Non-endorsement: The use of Speaker's name within event-specific websites or mailing lists does not constitute endorsement by Organizer of the Speaker, the Speaker’s services, products or programs. Additionally, the Speaker is not permitted to represent in any manner that such products, services, or programs have been endorsed by Organizer, nor is Speaker allowed to promote or sell their specific products, services or programs.
9. Travel Expenses: All travel and parking expenses to, from and during the conference are the responsibility of the Speaker.
10. Non-exclusivity: Organizer will not award exclusivity or establish exclusive relationships with Speakers. Speaker shall not imply that such a preferential relationship exists between Speaker and Organizer.
11. Limited Liability: In the event that circumstances beyond the commercially reasonable control of Organizer interferes with, or prevents, Organizer from fulfilling, in part, or all of the conference and elements under this Agreement, Speaker, by signing this Speaker Agreement, holds Organizer, as well as their respective Board of Directors and employees harmless from all legal and financial liability to Speaker.
12. Force Majeure: Neither Organizer or Speakershall be deemed in default of this Speaker Agreement to the extent that performance of its obligations or attempts to cure any breach are delayed or prevented by reason of any act of God, fire, natural disaster, accident, act of government, or any other causes beyond its commercially reasonable control.
13. Rejection: Organizer reserves the right to reject a potential speaker for any reason.
14. Furthermore: NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING ELSE IN THIS SPEAKER AGREEMENT, SPEAKER WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO ORGANIZER WITH RESPECT TO THE SUBJECT MATTER OF THIS SPEAKER AGREEMENT UNDER ANY CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHER LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORY FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR ANY AMOUNTS.
15. Entire Agreement: This and all attachments hereto, constitute the entire Speaker Agreement.
