FLORIDA STATE ALLIANCE OF YMCAS
OVER 7.8 BILLION PEOPLE LIVE ON THIS EARTH. AS TIME MOVES FORWARD, THE PLANET TRANSFORMS AND ADJUSTS AS MORE PEOPLE SHARE THE PLANET THAN EVER BEFORE, TODAY'S DECISIONS IMPACT THE WORLD OF TOMORROW.

Y-CORPS IS A GLOBAL SERVICE-LEARNING EXPERIENCE THAT ACTIVATES THE BUILDING OF A SUSTAINABLE PLANET. THE PARTICIPANTS, REFERRED TO AS CHANGE AGENTS, ALL REPRESENT THE GENERATION Z POPULATION. Y-CORPS OPERATIONALIZES SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY TO ANCHOR THE PROGRESSION OF OUR PLANET.

Your application submission will be reviewed by a selection committee and if chosen, you will be invited to learn more about the experience. You must be a resident of Florida in currently 7th-12th grade (age 13-20). As a Y-CORPS Change Agent, you are committing to:

1. Representing Generation Z to high standard by exemplifying the Y's Core Values, Cause, and Mission.

2. Depositing $150 for your cohort's start up budget.

3. Investing $500 (spread out over time period) worth of fundraising and service into the program that is allocated to the Y-CORPS operating budget.

3. Practicing philathropic efforts to hit fundraising and resource goals determined by the Y-CORPS cohort.

4. Dedicating 2-4 hours a month in the virtual planning, preparing, and executing of the Y-CORPS strategy.

5. Commiting to a 10-month journey that includes meet-ups and excursions.

5. Adventure into communites locally and regionally through 2-3 Y-CORPS excursions across the state and/or country.
