The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Public Education regularly holds two public meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month unless otherwise advertised.
By Board of Education policy, up to 40 minutes may be dedicated to public comments. The number of speakers at any given meeting is limited to 20. Each speaker may have up to 2 minutes to deliver comments.
Agenda topics are chosen and finalized by the Board Executive Committee - Board Chair and Director of Schools. Contracts available for public comment may be viewed on the published agenda page which is published five days prior to Tuesday Board meetings.
