Aftercare instructions

Avoid Water, Cleansers, Steam, and Heat for 24 hours

Natural hair is acidic with a pH of 4.5 to 5.5. During the brow lamination process an alkaline lotion is used to break the bonds. Although the bonds are reformed with the set lotion, the hair is still a bit alkaline after the appointment and therefore the bonds need a bit of time to stabilize. Water, steam, and he are things that can change the physical bonds of the hair, as the hair still stabilizing, exposing it to the sources can prevent a chemical bond from stabilizing. Condition Daily

eyebrow lamination is a chemical process in which the hair bonds are broken and reformed, during this process, it can cause the hair to become dehydrated. It is a very important condition to browse daily to maintain the results until the brows grow out. Failure to condition daily will result in frizzy and unruly brows. Hair conditioner can be used on the brows to keep them hydrated and silky apply the conditioner onto the brows in the shower and let it sit for a few minutes. Otherwise using another type of nursing oils such as castor oil, coconut oil, vitamin E oil work as well. 

Brush and style

 

well lamination restructures the brow hair so that they can be easily styled into a new shape. However brushing and styling are still required it's the same as getting a hair straightening service– The hair is straighter, but it still needs to be brushed and styled. A mascara one can be used to brush the brows into the desired position, and a brow gel can be used to help any unruly hair in place.

I Will advise the aesthetician of any discomfort irritation and or concern immediately. Once concern is expressed the aesthetician will gladly remove product and service and seek any medical attention if necessary. 
  
it is my responsibility to follow the aftercare instructions for the best results. Brow lamination will have to be redone every 4 to 8 weeks for maintenance. I understand the brows may become unruly if touchups are not done. Bra lamination will make styling the brows easier but will not illuminate the need for styling, brushing, and or the use of a styling gel. 

I understand that while every attempt will be made to provide me with my chosen color, everyone's hair absorbs color differently and the result may not be the color I initially wanted.

There are no guarantees for the length of time your brow lamination and tint will last. I understand the aftercare instructions and will do my part to maintain my browss. I understand that there are many factors that may affect the life of the brow lamination and tint such as water and moisture contact, weather conditions, and activities involving exposure to high temperatures.

We suggest checking with your doctor prior to having a brow lamination and tint if you were pregnant, nursing, have conjunctivitis, Eye infections, trichotillomania, have recently undergone chemotherapy, or have recently had Lasik or Blepharoplasty surgery.

I acknowledge that the results of brow lamination and tint do vary and that no guarantees are specific results are offered or implied. I take some responsibility for any reaction I may have, staining of clothing and or personal belongings. Agreed to hold The Skin Distillery Esthetics and all authorized representatives harmless from any liability involved in the brow lamination and tint process. The Skin Distillery Esthetics and their staff have explain this procedure to me and all my questions, if any, were answered.
