Cost Information
Cash App is $D17v7
Venmo is @D17v7
Initial Fee:
An initial fee of $300 will be due when you accept your spot on the team. This must be paid so your uniform package can be ordered. If we need to break it up into two $150 payments we can do that. This initial fee takes care of the uniform package, insurance, and other miscellaneous fees.
Additional Costs:
Additional costs will be per tournament. For example, if we play in a tournament that charges a $500 Entry fee we will split that fee by the number of players on that team. If the team has 20 players it would be a $25 tourney fee per kid ($500/20=$25).
Lodging
:
For out-of-town tournaments, the players may have the option to stay in team lodging. We stay 4 players per room and the cost of the room is split evenly among them.
Travel:
If we rent a van to transport players the cost of the van and fuel will be split among those riding the van.
Out-of-town tournament Expense Example:
Tourney fee: $600 -
Divided by 18 players =
$33 each
Hotel fee:
Rm cost $130 a night with taxes x 2 nights - $260 divided by 4 players =
$65 each
Travel fee:
If we rented a van and you rode. If the van cost $550 and we used $300 worth of fuel that would total $850. Divide that amount by 14 people riding the van =
$61 each
GRAND TOTAL FOR THE TOURNAMENT if you rode the van and stayed in the room with the team = $159
Players have the option to ride and stay with their parents to any and all tournaments. This is actually preferred.
12u players and younger will NOT have the option of team hotels or travel. All 12u players must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and stay in a parent or guardian room. We will not be responsible for 12u and younger players at any time other than while on the field at the tournament. We will not mix 12u players with older players at any time.
Money is expected to be paid on time. If anyone is having hardships or issues please let me know and I will do my best to work with you. We want all these young men to be able to play and will have fundraising opportunities available. If you are not willing to fundraise then you may just pay the fee. If you are not willing to pay the fee or fundraise then you should not accept a spot on the team.
As an estimated amount you can expect costs for 8 tournaments as well as the initial fee of $300 to be in the neighborhood of $750-$1,000 for the season total. We understand this is a large investment and we strive to provide quality competition and venues for your young athlete to play. Our organization has been nationally ranked and competes at a high level in major tournaments. This takes a commitment of both money and time and is not for everyone. If you are looking for a team to just have fun playing every now and then you may want to look elsewhere. Our fees and costs associated are kept to a minimum. We can not afford to have kids that do not take their commitment seriously.
