Tantrum's PLAY MAKERS!
Ages 5-12
9AM to 3.30PM, Thursday 19th & Friday 20th January
Put the drama back in to school holidays! 🤩
Join Tantrum’s professional teaching artists over two creative days to make and perform a new play! Participants can take on any role they choose – performer, costume designer, props maker, script writer – or all of them!
Tantrum’s creative drama workshops put young people at the centre of their creative expression, supporting participants to use their voice, follow their instincts, and make what they want to make.
Parents, carers, friends, join us at 3.00PM on the final day, as we debut our new work.
Activities run from 9AM to 3:30PM. Drop-offs/pick-ups will be supervised from 8:30AM.
- Tantrum has over 40 years' experience in creative workshops.
- Our workshops are delivered by experienced artists and facilitators who hold current First Aid and Youth Mental Health First Aid qualifications.
- All Tantrum artists have current Working With Children Checks.
COVID-Safety:
- Registered participants should not attend if feeling unwell, have been asked to isolate, or have been identified as a close-contact.
About Tantrum
Tantrum is the leading youth arts company in the Hunter region (NSW, Australia) and a not-for-profit co-operative. Utilising performance, storytelling and so much more, we offer meaningful creative workshops, projects and opportunities for young people aged 5 to 30 that build confidence, connections and compassion.
We believe artistic expression is a powerful tool for young people to make sense of themselves, their community and the world around them, leading to change.
