EXHIBIT OVERVIEW:
The Coral Springs Museum of Art invites Active Members from the Coral Springs Artist Guild to submit to the Lobby Exhibition.
Theme: CHANGES
With the new year comes a fresh set of transitions. Change is all around us with each new year, but change also occurs within our expression. What has changed in you this year? What has changed in your artwork? Submit works of art that speak to the idea of change in a way that has been meaningful to you. Artworks must have been created within the last 18 months.
Work must be original and not older than 18 months old and has not been shown here before with the Guild or any other organizaiton. No reproductions accepted. All Art forms encouraged.
JUROR:
- This exhibit will be blind juried by a curator and/or art professional. The name of the juror will not be stated. This allows the juror the freedom to jury withour bias or apprehension. We will provide a professional summary of experience.
- Work not selected by the juror will be digitally displayed on a looping slide show in the Hall Gallery. Please make sure the images you submit are cropped and high quality.
- Everyone will have at least one piece on display either on the wall or digitally depending on the selection by the juror.
AWARDS:
Special Exhibit Awards: Monetary Awards will be given for Best in Show. Award Certificates will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Artist Notification for in person or digital: January 20, 2023 (by email)
In Person Delivery Only: Monday January 31, 2023 from 10:00am - 2:00pm
Exhibition Opening Reception: Thursday, Feb. 9th, 5:30-7:30pm, Award Announcements at 6:30pm by Daniel Listwan in the Hall gallery.
In Person Pick Up Only: Wednesday March 1, 2023 from 10:00am - 2:00pm
ELIGIBILITY:
Must have an Active Coral Springs Artist Guild Membership.
SPECIFICATIONS:
The exhibition will consist of 2D and 3D work in all media, all work must be hangable. Wall pieces must be wired for hanging. Accepted work cannot be substituted and must be available for the duration of the exhibit.
SUBMISSION:
Submit up to two JPEG/JPG digital images.
Upload options for image files:
File format: JPEG or JPG only
File dimensions: 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side
File size: 5 MB maximum
DELIVERY OF ARTWORK:
All artwork must be hand-delivered to and picked up from The Coral Springs Museum of Art on the appropriate dates during the scheduled times.
INSURANCE AND SALE OF ARTWORK:
The Coral Springs Museum of Art, City of Coral Springs or any employees or leaderships is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged artwork during this exhibition. Artists are responsible for insuring artwork during transit and during exhibition. The Coral Springs Museum of Art receives a 30% commission on all exhibition sales if work is for sale.
MEDIA/PUBLIC RELATIONS:
The Coral Springs Museum Art reserves the right to use digital images of exhibited artwork for media, website, PR and advertising.
