Scholarship Description
The Paulding County Farm Bureau will select recipients from the applications that meet the mandatory criteria. A scholarship selection committee, appointed by the Paulding County Farm Bureau Board of Trustees, will evaluate the scholarship applications and present its recommendations for the awards to the Board for approval. From the applications, the committee will evaluate each candidate’s academic performance, agriculture involvement, community involvement, and Farm Bureau membership history.
The purpose of the scholarship program is:
- To financially assist and reward a college-bound high school senior and/or college-enrolled student from the Farm Bureau community in Paulding County, Ohio, who intends to further their education.
- To recognize the present and future scholastic ability of young adults.
- To invest in the post-secondary education and career planning of young adults.
- To select recipients based upon merit, abilities, and accomplishments.

Applicant Eligibility
- Applicant must be a current member of the Paulding County Farm Bureau when applying for the scholarship, or have a parent or guardian who is a current Paulding County Farm Bureau member.
- Applicant must be a current high school senior or a full-time, undergraduate student at a university, college, or technical/trade school, with scholarship preference given to those in an agriculture-related field.
- Applicant must be within five years of high school graduation.
- Applicant must have a minimum high school cumulative grade point average of 2.5.
Scholarship Rules and Regulations
- Graduating high school seniors or college students must submit a copy of their next quarter/semester grades with a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.00 from the university, college or technical school they are attending to the Paulding Farm Bureau office before they will be granted the scholarship funds.
- Previous recipients are eligible.
- Recipients of the scholarship (or a representative if they are unable to attend) must attend the Paulding County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting to receive the scholarship.
