Affiliate Membership provides numerous opportunities to those involved in the real estate industry, the most important being face-to-face contact with those with whom you may develop a working relationship. As a recognized Affiliate Member, your investment is $300.00/ year in membership dues entitles you to membership benefits from our local Association.

I hereby apply for Affiliate Membership with the SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS, I agree to pay ($300), which will be invoiced to you and can be paid online or by check, which is to be returned to me in the event of non-membership.

In the event of my membership, I agree to abide by the Code of Ethics of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS, and the Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations of the SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS, and the Louisiana Realtors Association.

Each affiliate will have the opportunity to sponsor events throughout the year being notified through emails by SWLAR office. Optional: Affiliate to participate in Mini Expo and classroom time.

Please provide the email address for four (4) additional contacts from your office that will engage as sponsors. The contacts you provide will be the only people from your office that will be able to attend events. In such case of an employee change, the primary contact may contact SWLAR in writing to make known the changes. If the contact person leaves the company and your membership was paid by the company, then the company can appoint a new contact in your place.

An Affiliate can request membership of the SWLAR Affiliate’s throughout the calendar year; the rate is not pro-rated. Renewal contracts will not be automatically renewed. SWLAR will send annually a new contract to each of the current Affiliate members; Affiliates must complete and return to SWLAR with payment. If SWLAR office does not have BOTH and contract payment the Affiliate will not be considered in good standing or on the roster of Affiliates.
