Artist Working Group 2025 Cohort
Piloted in 2021, the Artist Working Group seeks to elevate the creative voices of artists working at the intersection of disability and other significant social topics. Artists in residency are paid a $1500 stipend and provided with up to $500 for materials and supplies to create original artwork exploring how a shared theme relates to their experience of disability, and challenges them to present their ideas in accessible forms across different abilities. At the end of each Artist Working Group cohort, Art Access hosts an accessibly designed exhibit that is free to the public.
