2023-2024 District Teacher of the Year Announcement
District Coordinators,

The state program would like to welcome and congratulate each 2024 District Teacher of the Year as they are named. Please provide contact information for your District Teacher of the Year after they are selected. The 2024 DTOTY are those serving their term of service during the 2023-2024 school year.

All 2024 DTOTYs are eligible to apply for the 2025 Georgia Teacher of the Year, if they have not been recognized as a District Teacher of the Year within the last 3 years and meet all program qualifications as outlined in the district coordinator's guide.

DTOTYs will receive information regarding the 2025 Georgia Teacher of the Year application process, conference information, and other professional learning opportunities. The application will open in Fall 2023.
