2023-2024 Indiana Course Access Portal (iCAP) Reimbursement Application
Purpose: The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) Office of Digital Learning is offering an opportunity for schools to receive reimbursement for students enrolling in the Indiana Course Access Portal (iCAP) for the 2023-2024 school year.
This program seeks to increase access to well-rounded educational resources by providing students with courses that are currently unavailable within their school. iCAP, established in (Indiana Code 20-30-16), currently offers over 180 course options from seven course providers. These providers have been approved to offer courses by IDOE.
This opportunity is open to all students in public and charter schools, with funding prioritization given to the following student populations as defined in Section 4104 [20 U.S.C. 7114] of Title IV, Part A Statute: “female students, minority students, English learners, children with disabilities, and low-income students who are often underrepresented in critical and enriching subjects.” Reimbursement will be provided through the U.S. Department of Education’s Expanding Access for Well-Rounded Courses Demonstration Grant awarded to IDOE.
All approved schools will be required to distribute parent and student satisfaction surveys and to provide data on selected courses, grade level, number of students enrolled, and pass percentage.
