Applicant Eligibility
- Applicant must be a current dues-paying member of the Van Wert County Farm Bureau or have a parent/guardian who is a current dues-paying member.
- Applicant must be a current high school senior or be enrolled as a full-time, undergraduate student majoring in an agriculture-related program; come from an agriculture-related background; have been involved in an agriculture-related service for at least one year; or be enrolled in an agricultural trade school.
Scholarship Rules and Regulations
- Scholarship monies will be paid directly to the applicant after submission of their respective transcript detailing their grades for the first quarter or semester of the 2026-27 academic year. The transcript must show that the applicant/scholarship recipient maintains a 2.5 GPA, or the applicant must submit three months of time sheets.
- Previous recipients are eligible, with all information submitted being current.
- Applicants must attend the Van Wert County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting to receive the scholarship or have an absence excsed no less than three business days prior to the event. An official invitation will be sent in July.
