Moonah Arts Centre has a number of opportunities for young artists to present a solo exhibition of their art at Moonah Arts Centre.
To apply, artists must:
- be aged 25 or under
- live in, attend school in, or have a strong connection to the City of Glenorchy
The City of Glenorchy includes Austins Ferry, Berriedale, Chigwell, Claremont, Collinsvale, Derwent Park, Dowsing Point, Glenorchy, Glenlusk, Goodwood, Granton, Lutana, Montrose, Moonah, Rosetta and West Moonah.
- have a completed body of work or large singular work ready for presentation.
There are limited opportunities available. Successful artists will be selected by Moonah Arts Centre’s curatorial team.
Applications close: Tuesday 28 February 2023
Successful applicants notified: Thursday 2 March 2023
Exhibition dates: 31 March – 29 April 2023
Successful artists will be supported by Moonah Arts Centre in the following ways:
- Professional art handler to install their exhibition
- Curatorial advice and guidance
- Marketing and promotion of their exhibition to MAC audiences
- Assistance writing a professional artist's biography
- Opportunity to sell their work (no commission taken)
- Waiving of gallery hire fees for their exhibition
- Professional documentation of their exhibition for their artist portfolio
