  • Harrison County Farm Bureau Scholarship

  • Scholarship Description

    Harrison County Farm Bureau is offering up to $3000 in scholarships. This money will aid young people of Harrison County in continuing their education and becoming self-directing, productive, and contributing members of their community.

    Deadline March 31, 2026

    Applicant Eligibility

    • Applicant must be a high school senior or graduate planning to attend or having entered any accredited institution offering post-secondary education.
    • The applicant, parent, or legal guardian must be a current member of the Harrison County Farm Bureau for the last two consecutive membership years. 

     Scholarship Rules and Regulations

    • The scholarship recipients will be announced in May.
    • Recipients will also be acknowledged at the Harrison County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting in September.
    • The scholarship money will be paid in January following completion of one (1) quarter or semester of school.
    • Any scholarship money that is not claimed after one (1) year will be forfeited.


    PLEASE NOTE – This application is estimated to take one hour to complete and must be completed in one sitting. Please obtain your transcript, letters of recommendation, and write your essay(s) before beginning this application.  

    • Transcript: Applicant must provide a High School, Technical School, College or University transcript 
    • Letters of Recommendation (2):
      • Applicants must obtain two (2) letters of reference from an adult leader, mentor, and/or educator who describes the applicant’s academic, community service, and/or leadership experiences.
      • Letters may not be written by the applicant, anyone under 21 years of age, or anyone related to the applicant or serving as a legal guardian.
      • Please note that letters of recommendation must be dated within the last six (6) months and can not be reused if you have previously applied for this scholarship.
