AVI Customs Brokerage Clearance Invoice and Contract

AVI Customs Brokers, makes the customs clearance process for your pet's arrival to the USA easy and stress-free - we have a couple of different fees which will vary by type of pets and your flight's arrival time.

Nearly all airlines are also now charging an import fee at the time of pickup - you can pay this fee at the time of pickup for your pet, or we can pay this for you in advance.

Some airlines require you to pay with cash, others only credit card. If you pay this fee on your own - be prepared to have both forms of payment available.

In order to keep our rates low as possible, we do not have phone support for non clients - however, once you are working with us, you will have a direct representative phone contact and access to our AVIChat app. (all clients will need to download our app)

Our fees are as follows: $75 of the below fee are inclusive of a setup fee, this includes us setting you up in our system and beginning to collect all documents necessary, should you cancel the customs entry or move for any reason, this $75 charge will still apply and will not be refunded.

For arriving during normal customs clearance hours - up to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday:

For family pets - $160.00 - a family pet is a pet that an owner can prove prior ownership such as vet records.
Newly purchased puppy or kitten - $230.00 -
- Tariff duties will vary based on what country the pets are coming from, and will be due prior to clearance. This is based on cost of pet, which we must have proof of payment if asked, and the tariff amount imposed by the Trump administration based on the departing country.

**OVERTIME FEE FOR AFTER HOURS ARRIVALS** Scheduled arrivals after 3:30 pm will be an additional customs overtime of $100.

**SAME DAY clearance and rush of documents** $125.00 additional (if you were not a client already**

If a flight is scheduled to arrive during normal business hours and is delayed, there will not be any additional fees from us.

**Weekend arrivals are $200 additional for customs and admin overtime** - we highly advise against weekend arrivals, not all airports allow clearances on weekends.

All clients will be required to provide a government issued ID, a US Passport is preferred, state driver's license is allowed but customs may ask for additional information - if you are not a US citizen, a valid VISA is required.

Our sister company. Island Pet Movers can arrange clearance and home delivery all across America - if this is something you'd like to add at a later date, just ask us about the additional costs for these services - this varies from airport to airport and of course delivery distance from arrival airport.
