About The Fund

The Ocean State Ass Mutual Aid Fund was started by sex workers, for sex workers in March of 2020 in response to income loss due to COVID-19. It is funded entirely by donations and is completely volunteer run. Since it’s initial creation, OSA has distributed over $80,000 to individual sex workers living in Rhode Island. OSA hopes to continue expanding as a resource for sex workers in need of support accessing basic needs as well as a community network for support and resilience.
Who Qualifies?

As of 2023, funds continue to be available for ALL Rhode Island-based sex workers in need of financial assistance regardless of COVID. Each approved applicant will receive a $200 stipend, distributed the following Sunday (via venmo, cashapp, or cash) after you have been verified, unless there is a waitlist due to lack of funds. At this time, we are only able to offer this stipend once per applicant but we can crowdfund for you on our instagram.
