Thank you for choosing Smith and Webster Restaurant and Bar for your dining experience. We pride ourselves in offering unparalleled flavor and southern hospitality in a metropolitan setting. Our large party rules are in place to provide a good experience while allowing the restaurant to maintain uninterrupted service by implementing the following conditions. Any party of 8 or more, must comply with these conditions.
1. There can only be one check and up to three methods of payment (i.e. one check and up to three credit cards or cash)
2. There are NO decorations allowed. A single celebration-themed balloon is allowed. (i.e. giant "21" for birthdays or a "Congratulation" balloon)
3. If there is a cake or dessert that you wish to bring to your dining celebration, we charge a $25 out-of-store restaurant dessert fee. This provides you with storage of the cake, plates for cake slices, and any to-go boxing. If there is a birthday, you may purchase any of our delicious desserts and our staff will be happy to sing to the birthday person.
4. We attempt to provide the county's most reasonable elevated casual dining option. With no upfront fees, credit card holds for reservations, or mandatory minimum spends, we try our best to provide an affordable option with class. To keep this liberal policy, we kindly ask that each person in the dining party order an entrée or an equivalent mixture of apps and/or drinks totaling the cost of our least expensive entrée. We can't have large parties that only place orders for solely appetizers or have multiple guests at the table not ordering and just sipping water. Each reserved seat must be accompanied by a dining person unless previously expressed challenges preventing dining from occurring are reported to a Smith and Webster representative at least 24 hours in advance.
5. Upon arrival, a credit card will be placed on file once the party has been seated. Any person absent from the party will have an automatic $25 absentee fee per absent person. We know things happen, but each seat in our restaurant would have been occupied by a paying customer. We simply are unable to allow parties to have multiple absent members that were reserved.
6. If you are unable to keep your reservation, we kindly as that you inform us with at least a 48-hour notice so that our restaurant will not take a financial hit.
7. For groups of 15 or more, an increase of 2% will be added to the overall service fee.
8. Groups must arrive on time. At least 80% of the party must be present in order to be seated. Parties are given a grace period of 15 minutes after the original reservation time to arrive. Arrival after 15 minutes will forfeit your reservation depending on our seating availability. 9. Once your party has been seated, we will provide two (2) hours of dining time. We ask that you enjoy responsibly and be considerate to your fellow diners with reservations. If there is additional time needed, and we are not fully committed, additional time may be extended at no cost.
