Membership Application:
The AGM Merchandiser Membership is available to golf professionals, assistants, buyers/merchandisers, specialty golf shop owners, and club managers/owners who are directly involved in the buying/selling of merchandise at a golf retail operation.
In addition to your new membership, you will be enrolled in our Certified Retail Manager program. Long regarded as the "Educational Voice in Golf Merchandising," the AGM's designation of "Certified Retail Manager" affirms that the graduate has the expertise and the ability to operate a retail operation successfully and profitably by implementing the highest standards of management and execution.
The AGM Associate Membership is available to individuals who work at the same golf retail operation as an AGM Merchandiser member.
The AGM Sales Representative Membership is open to individuals who represent companies selling products or services in the golf industry. These may include product distributors, manufacturers' representatives, independent sales agents, or similar roles who directly facilitate the sales and distribution process to golf retail operations. This membership is designed to foster a robust network of sales professionals within the golf merchandising industry.
The AGM Student Membership is offered to Professional Golf Management and Merchandising students enrolled in a college/university.
Each year, the AGM awards scholarships to students actively vying for a career in golf merchandising. Students must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or technical institute. Recipients are expected to showcase their commitment to the industry and maintain an impressive academic record.
