    Current, Incoming, and AB-540 Students expecting to enroll full-time in Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 are encouraged to apply!

    What we're looking for:

    What you’ll do:

    Fellows will work within organizations focusing in areas of K-12 schools, Food Insecurity or Climate Action to build healthier and more equitable communities across California. They will do this in a variety of ways. Some examples include:

    • Provide direct service assistance that is specific to community partner’s needs. Examples include K-12 tutoring of students needing additional academic (and other) support; stocking and distributing food for local families that rely on food banks or pantries; and participating in climate action initiatives or educating the community about climate issues and actions.

    • In order to successfully complete the Fellowship, students must: Complete a National Service Criminal History Check & Live Scan, in order to be formally enrolled* (AB-540 students will not need to complete the National Service Criminal History Check & Live Scan unless their community host partner site requires it.) By selecting "Yes" below, I certify that I am willing and able to meet the above listed basic requirements in order to complete the College Corps Program. Furthermore, If I am selected as a finalist for a College Corps Fellowship, I give my campus permission to conduct criminal history background checks in accordance with the Corporation for National and Community Service guidelines.*If you selected "No," please DO NOT continue the application, as you are not eligible for this year's College Corps.**
    • In order to successfully complete the Fellowship, students must: Complete at least 450 Hours of Service by May 31, 2024. To reach this goal, students in the College Corps program must commit to consistently serve an average of 12-15 hours per week throughout the academic year. By selecting "Yes" below, I certify that I am willing and able to meet the above listed basic requirements in order to complete the College Corps Program.*If you selected "No," please DO NOT continue the application, as you are not eligible for this year's College Corps.**
    • In order to successfully complete the Fellowship, students must: Participate fully in required orientation, training, and learning sessions for Fellows. By selecting "Yes" below, I certify that I am willing and able to meet the above listed basic requirements in order to complete the College Corps Program.*If you selected "No," please DO NOT continue the application, as you are not eligible for this year's College Corps.**
    • In order to successfully complete the Fellowship, students must: Abide by Allan Hancock College’s Code of Conduct. By selecting "Yes" below, I certify that I am willing and able to meet the above listed basic requirements in order to complete the College Corps Program. *If you selected "No," please DO NOT continue the application, as you are not eligible for this year's College Corps.**
    • In order to successfully complete the Fellowship, students must: Assist community host organization with reporting evaluative data. By selecting "Yes" below, I certify that I am willing and able to meet the above listed basic requirements in order to complete the College Corps Program. *If you selected "No," please DO NOT continue the application, as you are not eligible for this year's College Corps.**
    • Students selected to join the Fellowship should meet at least (1) of the following criteria. Please indicate which of the following may pertain to you (multiple options ok):uestion*

    • To qualify as an AB-540 Dreamer, you must have a completed & submitted California Dream Act Application (CADAA) for 2023-2024 AY. By selecting "Yes" below, I certify that I have reviewed the eligibility criteria for the CADAA and that I have initiated and/or completed every step of the enrollment process.*
    • To qualify as an AB-540 Dreamer, you must be an active recipient of a Cal Grant B Award for the 2023-2024 academic year. By selecting "Yes" below, I certify that I have reviewed the eligibility criteria for the CADAA and that I have initiated and/or completed every step of the enrollment process.*
