Hi Friends and Neighbors,

Thank you for your interest in serving the unsheltered community in Melbourne.

We are seeking volunteers and appreciate your help.

To better prepare for any future cold night shelter in Melbourne, we would like to create a list of community members we can contact when the need arises.

The primary focus of the cold night shelter is to help those living unsheltered seek refuge indoors during temperatures 45° or below, overnight. Breakfast and dinner is provided with the help of the community.

Volunteer shifts are around 4 hours and are between the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.

If you are over the age of 18 and would like to help, please fill out this short questionnaire.

NOTES: Please include any details about yourself and/or schedule that may be helpful for us to know. (Ex # 1, I'm available every Wednesday and Saturday morning. Ex # 2, I have first aid training. Ex #3 I have experience cooking in a commercial kitchen and would like to prepare a fresh meal.)
