The following details are requested for any webinar held in the American Trails Advancing Trails Webinar Series. If some of the details requested below are unknown, we suggest that you complete the form to the best of your ability with your interest as we want to hear from you!

Should your topic be selected, we are happy to save a webinar date and can obtain details to promote the webinar at a later date once available. All webinars are held on a Thursday starting at 10am Pacific.

This form is to be used if you have a topic you wish to present as a webinar. If you only have a topic that you wish to share but are NOT interested in presenting, please email candace@americantrails.org.

When are determinations made if a presentation is accepted or not? We plan to contact presenters shortly after the January 31 deadline, if not before. We intend to schedule webinars as they come in, especially if they are interested in the first or second quarter.

It is important to us to work with a diverse group of presenters in the trails industry.

Webinar Details:

We request no more than 4 presenters for a 90-minute webinar. Please note that your webinar topic may be similar to others that are presented, and therefore may be combined if necessary.

All webinars are held on a Thursday starting at 10am Pacific. We try to hold one webinar per week, pending availability and avoiding holidays.

Presenter Conditions:

Accessibility: All American Trails webinars are accessible via the American Trails website and online store indefinitely as a free resource for all. In some instances, American Trails may receive sponsorships for webinars which are used for the promotion of the webinar series and necessary costs associated with each webinar and are not transferrable to a presenter (unless mentioned otherwise).

Promotion: While presenters are not compensated for webinars, American Trails promotes presenters in all marketing efforts and presenters are allowed to reuse any promotional material in their own emails and on their own websites and social media outlets. We see an average of 500 attendees per webinar (sometimes closer to 1,000+) with an average of 300 or more downloads of webinar recordings via our online store every month. Presenters will also receive the attendee list as well as any survey responses for their particular webinar. By registering for our webinars, attendees are submitting their information to the webinar organizer and associated presenters and sponsors, who may use it to communicate with them regarding this event and their other services.

Other Terms: An American Trails webinar typically lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, with 10 to 30 minutes for Q&A at the end. All webinars are recorded, offer free learning credits, offer real-time closed captioning in English (other languages available upon request), and attendees (and presenters) are sent a link to the recording, closed caption transcript, and resources slide within 2 days post-webinar.
