There will be ongoing opportunities for Tribal Working Group (TWG) Members (Members) and presenting partners (Partners) to engage with one another. The Climate Science Alliance (Alliance) staff and partners request that all Members adhere to the following community agreements. The Alliance reserves the right to moderate any TWG participation that is not conducive to a positive dialogue.

- I commit to respecting the confidentiality of other Members and Partners who share their knowledges, experiences, data, and stories and will not use any information to my personal benefit.
- I commit to upholding the values and protocols of Indigenous Data Sovereignty, in which data for and about Indigenous peoples and partners are utilized to advance their community priorities and safeguard their lands and cultures from the threat of climate change.

Liability Release

I, {name118}, agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Climate Science Alliance (Alliance), its fiscal sponsor, board members, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, members, and representatives for any and all liability arising out of or in consequence of any mental or physical injury, illness, or death sustained as a result of any activity connected with the Tribal Working Group (TWG), except that which might be caused by the sole negligence or willful misconduct of the Alliance. I also knowingly and voluntarily acknowledge and assume any risks or dangers associated with possible exposure to, or illness from COVID-19 or its variants while attending or participating in the TWG.

I have requested that the Alliance permit myself to participate in the TWG. I agree that I, my heirs, and my representatives will not make a claim against the Alliance. I have carefully read this liability release and I fully understand its contents. I acknowledge that I have had the full opportunity to read this document and to seek legal advice should I choose. I understand that this agreement is intended to be as broad as permitted by the laws of the state of California. I understand the physical nature of my involvement in the TWG and I am choosing to engage in the TWG. I understand that there is a risk of injury involved in participation of this TWG, and I choose to take on this risk.

I authorize the Alliance to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, distribute and publish in multimedia productions for purposes of publicizing Alliance programs or other lawful purposes. All materials will become the property of the Alliance, stored in a place chosen by the Alliance and will not be returned to me.
