1.Scope
This workshop is designed to support your health and well being. Information presented is supported by research and is psychoeducation. It is not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical attention, or treatment.
2.Fee
($122 sliding scale level - $133 sustaining level -$144 supporting others level)
Pay online using the Venmo app to send payment set up as bank to bank transfer to avoid credit card processing fees. Dr. Butterfield’s Venmo user name is Brenda-Butterfield (LINK TO VENMO). You can also send payment through Paypal (LINK TO PAYPAL).
When your online form and payment have been received, you will get an email confirming your place in class.
3. All art supplies for the workshop are provided.
4. What you need to bring
Any additional craft supplies you would personally like to use. Any medium is perfectly okay. We will be taking polaroid pictures for one of our opening exercises.
Find one or two pictures of yourself during a time when you could have used some compassion, and please bring these for our Self-Compassion exercise. If you don’t have pictures, you can also journal about these moments.
Bring your own lunch and travel mug. Hot tea and cocoa are available throughout the day. You can use the refrigerator at ONE and the microwave. Plates, bowls, silverware and napkins are available for your use.
5.Cancellations and Recording
This workshop will be recorded on Zoom and a link to the recording will be sent to anyone who needs to cancel and cannot attend the workshop. Refunds will not be provided. I acknowledge that if I receive this link, I agree not to share the recorded content with anyone outside of the group.
6.Hold Harmless
You are responsible for the care of your body, mind and soul throughout the experience. You can stop participating in any activity at any time. You agree for yourself, your heirs, administrators, and personal representatives to hold harmless the demands or causes of action, past, present, and future, known or unknown, relating to any actions in the group or harm, physical or mental, that results from your participation in the experience, and agree to indemnify the released parties for all judgements, costs, attorney fees and other expenses incurred as a result of a breach of this agreement.
7.Termination
You understand that at the discretion of the facilitator, either in the interest of the group or of yourself, the facilitator may withdraw you from the experience.
8.Content Use Policy
I understand that the use of The Daring Way™ program Is limited and only professionals certified in The Daring Way™ are authorized to facilitate this work and this curricula in groups for training or therapy purposes. For Helping Professionals taking this workshop, permission is granted to use only open-source resources and content of Brené's work for psychoeducational purposes in a therapeutic setting for individual sessions.
9.Informed Consent
You acknowledge that you have read this entire document, that you understand its terms and provisions, that it is a binding agreement, that by signing it you are giving up substantial legal rights you might otherwise have, and that you are signing it knowingly and voluntarily.
