Thank you for your interest in my company. This position is intended for passionate teachers who value student growth through rapport-building and culturally relevant student-focused lessons.
What to expect:
- Tutoring is conducted in a small group (no more than 12 in a class).
- At the time of this posting, we are looking for tutors to help us at our South Side of Chicago CPS schools.
- The ability to customize the curriculum as it fits the needs of our students while ensuring student progress.
- Each class is an hour long and typically happens twice a week.
- Hourly rate for in-person tutoring ranges from $20-$25 an hour based on experience
- Hourly rate for online tutoring ranges from $16-$20 an hour based on experience
- Classes typically happen after school on campus between the hours of 3-6:30 pm CST time Monday-Friday.
- Students who are struggling readers but eager to learn.
- Utilization of Google Classroom and Google Slides
- Hard-working, kind students
- Invested and caring parents
- Supportive staff

If brought on, you'll be added to our Teacher Database, where you'll be contacted about potential after-school opportunities in various schools and organizations throughout Chicago. Contracts will be given on a semester basis (Spring, Fall, Winter, Summer), and you must be able to commit to at least 2-4 hours in person a week. If brought into our database for in-person learning, you'd have access to potential online teaching opportunities for additional hours in the future.
