Adoption application For Midwood Kitty Cats
Please read before applying: All cats are dewormed, treated for fleas, tested for FIV/FELV and negative unless otherwise noted, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. Kittens too young to be spayed/neutered and still needing boosters on vaccines will be arranged by the rescue once old enough. Our adoption fee is $200 which goes towards the above vetting and allows us to continue rescuing new cats. All kittens under 6 months old must be adopted with another kitten unless you have a young playful cat at home.Applicants must be 18+. The person applying must be the primary caretaker off the cats/kittens, we do not accept applications for kittens as gifts. Please note we are a Brooklyn, NY based rescue. Applicants must live in, or near NYC.Once approved to adopt, we ask adopters to arrange pick up within 1 week. If you have upcoming travel plans, tt's best you apply within the week of when you are ready to adopt.We are a small rescue and we respond to applications as quickly as possible. Our current response time is 2-7 days. At this time we do not have the capacity to respond to rejected applications.
