You will receive an additional email within 2 weeks of applying informing you if you have been chosen as a candidate for interviews and will be provided a link to register for your chosen interview date/time.
Students are required to meet the following requirements to be considered for an Exploratory Ambassador position:
- Must be a current SCSU student in Good Academic Standing
- Must be declared in the major for which they are applying. DOES NOT need to have formerly been an Exploratory student.
- Earned or be in progress to earning a minimum of 60 credits at the time of applying
- Must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher.
  
  Students in majors that have an application process and GPA requirements above 2.5 must be meeting major grade requirements and be fully accepted into the major
- Must have complete at least one 300-level major course...OR...is planning to register for at least one 300-level major course during the upcoming semester.
- Student must be able to answer questions during summer/winter breaks and make at least a one year commitment to the position

If chosen as a candidate, you will be required to attend a small group virtual interview that will take 25-30 minutes. In most cases this position is not competitive, so this interview is casual, just meant to be a way for the coordinator to touch base with you and get meet you.*
