  • Hello, and Welcome to te Certified Lay Ministers Renewal application!

    All Certified Lay Ministers desiring to maintain their status must apply for renewal every two years. Read below and follow the prompts to renew your status.

    When you hit the "Submit" button on the application it will automatically be sent to your dCOM chair who will then schedule you for an interview.

  • Recommendation from Church Council or Charge Conference

    A written recommendation with a ministry review of your most recent two years of service is required from your church council or charge conference from the congregation of which you are a member- and if different- to the church you are assigned as well.

  • Verification of Continuing Education

    At least one CEU is required for every two years.

  • Written Recommendation from the District Superintendent

    Candidates must upload a letter from their District Superintendent recommending the applicant for renewal.
