My name is Jessica, and I'm addicted to decorating cookies!  

All crumb(y) jokes aside, if you’ve ever wanted to learn how to decorate sugar cookies — or felt frustrated with royal icing in the past — you’re in the right place.

During class, I’ll walk you through the basics step-by-step, from how I use icing to simple techniques you can recreate at home. These classes are beginner-friendly, relaxed, and all about having fun (no pressure, no perfection required).

Everything you need is provided — cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your creations home. Just show up, get creative, and enjoy yourself.

Classes are kept small (12–16 participants) so everyone gets plenty of guidance. You’re welcome to come solo, bring a friend, or make it a group outing. Please plan to arrive about 10 minutes early so we can start on time.

ADULT CLASSES 
Length: 2 hours
Age: 16+ at the coffee shop / 21+ at the wine bar 

KIDS-ONLY CLASSES
Length: 1 hour
Best for ages: 5 and up
Kids will decorate independently at the tables (with my instruction) while parents relax nearby in the room or enjoy the coffee shop during class. At least one parent or guardian must remain on site for the duration of the class.
Children should be able to follow directions and handle icing bags on their own.

MOMMY & ME CLASSES 
Length: 1 hour
Best for ages: 3 and up
One adult and one child will decorate together and share one set of cookies. This class is designed to be a fun, collaborative experience for both adults and kids.

CLASS MINIMUM
In the rare event that a class does not meet the minimum number of participants, the class may be canceled. If that happens, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another class or date.

FAQ

What will I be doing in the class?

Besides having the most fun ever? We’ll go over some cookie basics, decorating techniques, and you’ll decorate your own set of cookies to take home the same day.

Do I need to know how to bake?

Nope! Cookies and icing are pre-made for you. I’ll also share my recipes, tips, and tricks so you can practice at home if you’d like. Cookie cutters for the class designs are available for purchase at checkout.

What will we learn in class?

You’ll learn what goes into preparing royal icing, the value of different icing consistencies, how to color icing, and tricks to fill piping bags (believe me, it’s harder than it looks). You’ll also learn different decorating techniques such as marbling, outlining, wet-on-wet, brush embroidery, and painting. Techniques will vary depending on the class and can be customized to your needs.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing! Everything is provided — including my tasty sugar cookies.

Messy decorator? Feel free to bring an apron or wear easy-to-wash clothing. if you wear glasses, you may want to bring those as well.

What will I bring home?

You’ll leave with a box of gorgeous cookies (ready to dry for 24–48 hours — or eat immediately 😉), new skills, fun memories, and plenty of confidence.

Can I sign up as an individual or as a group?

You can sign up either as an individual, with a friend, or with a whole group. The more the merrier! I have a limited number of seats per class, so definitely sign-up ASAP!

I signed up for a class but can't make it?

I understand that life happens so that’s why I allow you to cancel up to 7 days before the class. Cancelations up to 7 days prior will receive a credit for a future class. You can always transfer your spot to a friend though (and what a nice friend you are). Any cancelation after the 7 days will not receive a refund or credit.
