Volunteer Opportunities:
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities, ranging from short-term projects to director positions. Have a few hours you would like to share with us? Volunteer! Looking to lead a team and show your commitment to empowering Latinx Veterinary Professionals? Volunteer! We are happy to discuss how your talents and passion can best contribute to our association.
Expectations for Board and Committee Volunteers:
- Most Board and Committee work will be conducted via email and video or teleconferences. On average, there are 12-14 calls/meetings per year.
- Board and Committee volunteers are expected to be prepared for meetings, actively participate in discussions, and respond promptly to email communications.
- Board and Committee volunteers aim to meet in person once per year.
- Board of Director terms are for two (2) years. Committee terms are for one (1) year.
