Attendees, guests, and parents: please read the following and sign at the end, showing your agreement. Each student attending needs a signed form. Thank you.Attendees: Our dance is open to middle-school and high-school aged members of TGIF who hold tickets. Middle-school and high-school ages siblings of TGIF members are also welcomed to attend. TGIF members may invite one guest (also middle- or high-school aged) subject to ticket availability. Each attendee needs a ticket. initial Attire: All guests should be dressed in a manner which shows respect for themselves and others. Attire is semi-formal. This is generally understood to be dresses or skirts for the ladies and nice pants and shirts (jackets and ties optional) for the gentlemen. Please use the following guidelines when selecting attire: Ladies: All necklines for dresses must be modest and in good taste. Dresses with plunging necklines are not permitted. Necklines must fully cover below the natural bra line with no visible cleavage. No spaghetti strap, halter style tops, one-shoulder, or cold-shoulder dresses are permitted. Dresses should be a modest length. They should fall right above or at the knee. Gentlemen: Nice pants and shirts are required. No jeans, sweatpants, sagging or baggy pants. Pants must be worn at the waist. Jackets and ties are optional. initail Dancing and Public Displays of Affection: The TGIF code of conduct for public displays of affection is in effect: No kissing. No holding or hugging from behind. No sitting on each other’s laps. Hand-holding and brief hugs are acceptable. Dancing is to be modest and appropriate for mixed company at a church facility. initial Facility: Attendees will follow facility rules and treat the space as our own. initial Safety: Attendees will exhibit safe and courteous behavior at all times, recognizing that we are guests in a fellow church’s facility and are representing TGIF without behavior. Attendees will remain in the designated space during the event. The dance begins at 6:30 pm and ends at 9 pm. This is a drop-off event, meaning parents do not stay unless they have signed up for a particular task that evening, and they pick up their child promptly at 9 so clean up can begin. No mood-altering or illegal substances are permitted including illegal, recreation drugs and alcohol. No vaping. No smoking. Large backpacks are not allowed, and any bag may be searched. Outside food and drink are not allowed. If any attendee notices unsafe behavior or feels concern, they will bring it to the attention of a chaperone or an adult in attendance. initial* Agreement: TGIF Spring Dance March 25th, 2023By attending the TGIF dance, I agree to follow this code of conduct as well as the host facility rules. initial
