CELTIC CONVERGENCE RETREAT

Retreat registration is $1,850 for IEA Members and $1950 for non-members. The non-member price includes a one-year membership to IEA and, if applicable, a one-year membership to IEA's European Encaustic Chapter.

This fee covers all events at the retreat - lodging, breakfast & lunch, and transportation to/from the train, and to/from your residence.

Pre- and post-retreat workshops (October 11-12 and October 17-18) are not included in the price of the retreat and are offered separately.

There are 70 open spaces available for retreat attendees, so please register early to ensure a seat.

If you get a message that the retreat is sold out, you will not be able to pay - but please send us this registration form if you want to be included on the wait list. We will notify you of your place on the list when and if openings become available.

NOTE that retreat attendees' accommodations for pre- and post-retreat workshops are NOT included and must be purchased separately.

Accommodations are located on and off the Mulranny Arts campus among 14 different buildings and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

There are a limited number of private rooms with private baths, a limited number of private rooms with shared baths, and the remaining rooms are shared (2 people) rooms with shared baths.

Attendees who register and sign up for accommodations will be kept in the same room. We will make every effort to keep attendees in the same room, but late registrants may have to move.

Because the COVID-19 protocols are constantly evolving, International Encaustic Artists will follow the guidelines and recommendations outlined by both the US and Europe at the time of the retreat.

These guidelines may or may not require vaccinations, masks and/or other safety protocols. IEA is committed to keeping our artists and our community as safe as possible. IEA does require a signature on a waiver of liability for the Celtic ConVergence Wax Over the Water retreat and workshops, as relates to COVID-19, for an undetermined amount of time.

As a participant at the Celtic ConVergence - Wax Over the Water Retreat and workshops sponsored by IEA (International Encaustic Artists), Mulranney Arts and the IEA EU Chapter, please acknowledge and agree to the following:

I am aware that the IEA ConVergence Retreat and/or workshops are in a social setting, and exposure to COVID-19 is a risk for anyone attending. I am aware of the potential risk arising from my participation that may cause injury or illness, such as, but not limited to, COVID-19 or influenza.I will not participate in this workshop if I have experienced symptoms of fever, fatigue, difficulty breathing, dry cough, or if I am exhibiting any other symptoms related to COVID-19 or any communicable disease in the 10 days prior to this workshop.I will not participate in this workshop if I, or any member(s) of my household, have been diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus in the 10 days prior to this workshop.If required, I agree to provide proof of vaccination for COVID-19 in order to attend the retreat and/or workshops. (Note that IEA and Mulranny Arts will follow the guidelines and requirements in place at the time of the retreat).

LIABILITY RELEASE WAIVER

I agree to assume all risks, take full responsibility, and waive and release any claims against International Encaustic Artists' (IEA) representatives, including but not limited to Mulranney Arts and the IEA EU Chapter, whether Board Members or volunteers, (“the Releasees”), from any illness, personal injury, death, financial loss or damage to personal property associated with my participation in Celtic ConVergence Retreat and Workshops, even if caused by the negligence of the Releasees.

I agree that should I become ill or suffer a loss due to infection from COVID-19 contracted as a result of attending the IEA Celtic ConVergence Retreat and/or Workshops that neither IEA nor Mulranny Arts will be held to be at fault or liable in any way.

I acknowledge that I have been sufficiently informed of the risks involved in my participation in this workshop. I give my voluntary consent in signing this Liability Release Waiver. This waiver will remain effective until laws and mandates relevant to COVID-19 are lifted.
