Educator Internship Application

Application guidelines: Stanislaus County Teachers, grades 3-12, can apply for the summer internship program. Forty (40) hour time commitment (work with your schedule). Internships must be completed before July 31, 2023. An Internship Exit Review will be emailed to you to be completed before August 7, 2023. Upon completion of the internship, Exit Review, and attendance on August 24th, you will be awarded $1,000 check. NEW THIS YEAR: SPIE would like you to implement your Career Awareness Lesson Plan with your students by February 29, 2024. SPIE will send you an online form for your students to fill out. It will need to be completed by March 29, 2024. This form will help SPIE to learn how your internship experience has contributed to their career awareness.
Please take note of the mandatory time commitment required to complete this internship.

Individual meetings with SPIE Consultant, via Zoom after school April 3-7, 2023. Teacher Intern Orientation meeting May 11th from 5:00-6:30. Exit interview, celebration & check distribution on August 24, 2023 from 4:30-6:00pm at Peterson Event Center (720 12th St. Modesto)
