Designer Application for NWA Fashion Week, June 8-10, 2023

A select group of designers will be granted the opportunity for runway presentation during NWA Fashion Week 2023. Applicants who pursue creativity, diversity, and inclusion will be given preference. All applications are due by March 3, 2023 and will be reviewed by INTERFORM. Any selections will be subject to revocation if deadlines are not met.

INTERFORM, a 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in the regional fashion community and ALL NWA Fashion Week runways. Please provide an example of how you embrace diversity and inclusion in your advertising or marketing.*
INTERFORM will review each application to determine if the proposed runway presentation fits within the mission and goals of INTERFORM. Preference will be given for creativity, diversity and inclusion.*

PLEASE NOTE:

Only hair and makeup teams contracted through INTERFORM will be allowed in the styling areas. They will assign a Styling Team to you unless other arrangements are explicitly made with approval from INTERFORM no later than April 7, 2023.

All models, even those recruited by individual designers, must attend mandatory boot camp(s) as well as adhere to INTERFORM policy during the run of show for INTERFORM Fashion Week Shows. INTERFORM must be able to contact models and coordinate with them directly.

If the Designer chooses to recruit their own models, model contact information must be given to INTERFORM by no later than April 7, 2023. Any model who cannot be confirmed by INTERFORM by April 7, 2023, will be replaced by a model recruited by INTERFORM.

ALL MODELS MUST BE 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO PARTICIPATE IN NWA FASHION WEEK. ANY MODELS UNDER 18 MUST HAVE A SIGNED PARENTAL CONSENT WAIVER BEFORE THEY ARE CONFIRMED FOR THE SHOW.

All designers participating in NWA Fashion Week 2023 will showcase their collection on either Thursday, June 8; Friday, June 9; or Saturday, June 10, 2023. Please select all dates you are available to showcase your collection. Participation dates will be selected at INTERFORM's discretion.*

VIDEO AND MUSIC PRODUCTION:

No designer runway intro videos will be presented this season.

Designer is required to provide at least one and half minutes of music per look for runway shows.

Music must be submitted in MP3 format already mixed for runway no later than May 5, 2023. If music is not submitted by this deadline, Designer will be charged $100 for the selection, purchase, and mixing of music.
