We are so excited you’re joining us for the Kol HaNeshamah 2023-2024 children’s education program!
We believe that Jewish learning is a collaboration between our families and our community and look forward to partnering with you in providing engaging and meaningful learning experiences for your children to build Jewish identity and literacy.
The social, educational, and spiritual activities in our classes are centered around the following components:
- Brachot (Blessings): developing an appreciation for the world and the people around us
- Middot (Character Traits): social-emotional learning and applying our Jewish values to real-life situations
- Torah (Stories): learning the stories of the Jewish people through questioning and interpreting
We also start learning to decode Hebrew, studying the Aleph-Bet, and learning useful vocabulary words.
If you have any questions about our school, please contact Elizabeth Fagin, Director of Children's Education, at khneducator@khnseattle.org or 425-765-6971.
Membership with Kol HaNeshamah is required to register your child for school (except for our toddler/parent program, KHN Kids, which doesn’t require membership).
If you have questions about membership and how to join our community, please contact membership chair Lavinia Touchton, at membership@khnseattle.org or Executive Director Connie Burk at execdir@khnseattle.org or 206-850-9583.
