• Harrison Summer Experience Scholarship

    Sponsored by the Harrison Parents' Association, this scholarship is designed to provide qualified 11th grade students with financial assistance to attend a rigorous, top-tier summer art experience (camp, pre-college, summer intensive, etc.). The awarding of the scholarship monies will be based on several factors: type of summer program selected, financial need of the student, student's artistic goals, departmental teacher(s) support, and amount of monies available.

    The application packet consists of:
    - This completed application
    - A recommendation letter of support from your departmental teacher
    - A typed, one-two paragraph response (150 words or less), describing your artistic goals both for any post-secondary experiences and/or professional objectives
    - A typed essay answering this prompt: Why do you feel this particular summer experience would be beneficial to your artistic development AND why do you need the financial assistance of the scholarship to attend? Please include any specific circumstances the selection committee should be aware of in relation to your financial need. The essay should be no longer than one page (single-spaced)
