    Key Responsibilities

    • Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming, enjoyable, and satisfying shopping experience
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing fair, friendly, and courteous service throughout their visit
    • Ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process by scanning items, itemizing purchases, and accurately processing payments
    • Accept cash, card, or other forms of payment, and make change as needed
    • Resolve customer questions, concerns, or returns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive overall experience
    • Balance the cash drawer by accurately counting funds at the beginning and end of each shift
    • Maintain smooth checkout operations by adhering to all store policies and procedures, and report any necessary updates or changes
    • Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and safe by following store safety guidelines and regulations
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless store operations and high-quality customer service
    • Contribute to a positive team environment by willingly taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Must be able to work mandatory sales dates
    • Previous customer service or cashier experience preferred but not required
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude; must be comfortable speaking and interacting with customers
    • Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills
    • Ability to work effectively with a team to ensure smooth store operations
    • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the sales floor and checkout area
    • Provide quick and accurate information regarding products, promotions, and pricing
    • Work with a sense of urgency, full of energy, and a positive attitude
    • Ability to handle cash, credit, and other transactions accurately and efficiently
    • Problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively
    • Basic math skills and attention to detail for cash handling and balancing registers
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service
    • Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings weekends, holidays and all major sale events
    • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed

    • What is the schedule for this job? 
    • Full-time (32-40 hours) and Part-time (18-29 hours) positions available, with shifts scheduled Monday through Saturday, including rotating Saturdays. Work hours range from 8 AM to 10 PM, with open and closing shift rotations. Saturdays and holidays are required, as well as availability for all major sale events throughout the year.

    • What is the pay for this job? 
    • Ranging from $14-15 per hour, depending on experience.
