Individual Teacher, Teaching Pair, or Small Group that provides 1 class during the event in exchange for 50% off Festival Passes Retail Price. Accommodation, Travel, and Meals NOT included & must purchase on our website separately. Join our Team of Guest Teachers for Hi.AF 23' at Kalani Oceanside Retreat Center. ROLES DURING FESTIVAL

Responsibilities include:

Hosting 1 workshop during the full three day event

Being present for your workshop and any orientaions needed prior

Teaching within our community guidelines for promoting saftey & inclusion

Checking Students Pre-Req’s prior to class start

Coordinating your own class material

Sending a class breif/description to Hi.AF prior to event start and adhereing to our timeline needs.

Purchase of 50% Discount Ticket to confirm teaching status.

Attending a Schedule Planning/Group Meeting Prior to the Event via Zoom if neccessary.

Being A part of our Hawai’i AcroFest Family, eager to participate and connect within our crew!

FESTIVAL AVAILABILITY

The Event is 3 days

All teachers must be present for their scheduled class time and any info breif/meetings if neccessary.

All the rest of the time you are free to attend as a regular guest and enjoy the property, festival, classes, workshops, art gallery, and retreat center amenities! Yay!

Hi.AF TEACHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. I agree to be present to my classes/shifts on time, and to advise Hawai'i AcroFest staff well in advance if my availability for rostered classes changes.
2. I agree to be present to orientations 10 minutes before the scheduled staff so as to be informed of particulars of the role and the venue.
3. I will not turn up to a rostered shift under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
4. I agree to advise Hawai'i Acro Festival staff if I am unable or uncomfortable to complete tasks that have been assigned to. We will be understanding of these requests, just give us as much notice as possible.
5. I agree to inform Hawai'i Acrofest Crew immediately of any injuries sustained while undertaking volunteering or teaching activities by myself or any guests.
6. As a member of the Hawai'i Acro Festival team, I will do my best to provide correct information and a positive attitude to all members of the public I deal with throughout the festival.
7. I agree to work in a constructive and cooperative way with Hi.AF staff and comply with any safety procedures as requested.
8. I understand that if I am unable to complete my allocated shifts, I may be asked to return my Wrist Band to fill the space with another teacher and/or asked to re-pay the full balance of the Festival Pass.
9. I understand that I am volunteering my services to Hi.AF and will not receive any remuneration for my services.
10. I understand that in exchanage for my teaching servies, Hi.AF agrees to offer me a 50% discount on my festival pass.
