The Virginia Chess Federation and Virginia Scholastic Chess Association are pleased to partner to host this "warm-up" tournament for the 2023 State Schoalstic Chess Championships.

Sections for Play: K-12, K-8, K-5, and K-3. All Sections are US Chess-rated and require a US Chess Federation membership.

Who Can Play? Players in grades Pre-K through 12. The event is open to out-of-state players. FIRST-TIME PLAYERS ARE WELCOME!!! At the close of Registration we have a 15-20 minute “Orientation to Tournament Chess” briefing.

- On March 10th and at the tournament, the entry fee increases to $25. Checks, Cash, and Credit Cards accepted at the tournament site.
