Blue Ribbon Club Scholarship for Seniors

Eligibility/Rules

1. Students applying for the scholarship must be Seniors.
2. The students receiving the scholarships must be accepted by a state accredited institution of higher learning, community college, technical or trade school.
   Should a student be selected and then fail to be accepted to a school, the scholarship will be awarded to the committee’s alternate selection. The scholarship will be for $500.00 per year, at $250.00 per semester, or $1,000
   per year at $500 per semester.
3. To be considered for the scholarship, the student must:
   1. Complete the entirety of the online application.
   2. Two letters of recommendation from his/her 4-H, FFA, or FCCLA advisor, and the other letter from a non-relative adult must be uploaded.
   3. Upload an official current high school transcript. 
   4. FASFA score required (if not available, you may turn in the front summary page of both parents' income tax forms). Please delete parents' Social Security numbers. 
   5. Upload signed signature form.
4. Applications will be considered based on a student’s financial need, demonstrated leadership ability, and responsibility, plus the student’s likelihood of completing a college education.
5. Applicant must have participated in a youth fair activity or exhibited a project to be eligible before the current year, and entering the current year.
6. Recipients will be notified and MUST BE PRESENT at the
   dinner on Monday, March 27, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. for the award presentation. The committee will consider exceptions such as illness or scholastic participation only with prior notification and approval.
7. The committee will not consider incomplete applications.
8. Scholarship applications will be based on financial need, leadership, grades, accuracy and completion, years of youth fair participation, and school and civic leadership involvement.
9. Incomplete applications or applications not filled out will not be considered. Please make sure all blanks on your application are completed.
