This year we are offering you a choice to book your ferry travel direct (with our exclusive deal codes) which can save you money and give you direct flexibility to make alterations to your crossing with amenment charges.

Alternative, we can arrange to have the ferry travel tickets booked for you.

Crossing from Portsmouth or Lymington £70 per car  (Wightlink)

Crossing from Southampton £130-£150 per car. (Red Funnel)*

These deals are via the Hotel.

We currently recomemd you choose the Wightlink cheaper option.

The Prices the hotels get from ferry companies, are discounted.

This is offered only if you book rooms at this hotel and valid for our dance weekender only.

*Red Funnel are currently only offering 15% discounts off normal rates in 2023 to the Trouville Hotel.

FERRY CHOICES IN 2023

At our 2023 weekender, BeachRoc will now have two options for your ferry crossings.

1/ Ask that Trouville hotel (as in previous years) Ferry Cost price + £12 admin fee

2/ you can book it yourself, very easy too at the cost price without admin fee (Link provided by hotel)

However with any BeachRoc ferry bookings or special link, there are only a limited number of car spaces per crossing at hotel discounted pricing (and that all hotels on the IOW are collectively trying to possibly book the same times).

Up to 4 people per car. (supplements for larger vehicles)

  

BOOK THE FERRY YOURSELF- DIRECT

If you make a completely separate direct booking (by-passing BeachRoc) with either Ferry Company,  you will pay the "going rate", however you will have the flexibility to guarantee the ferry crossing times you want. BeachRoc will not be involved with your crossing.

 

EXTEND YOUR TIME ON THE ISLE OF WIGHT

This would also be for those who wish to extend their stay on the Isle of Wight. There could be ferry supplements depending on the length of the extended period, but this will be shown when you are trying to make a booking. We rececomend you make your own direct booking.

The Trouville Hotel will let us know in March 2023 of any rooms that maybe available for extra nights (these are rooms from other 4 days group bookings that have not been sold and the hotel can release for 1-4 day bookings for BeachRoc dancers). Alternatively book other options on the IOW.

CHANCE TO SAVE SOME MORE MONEY.

CAR SHARE WITH 3 OR 4 PEOPLE IN SAME CAR.

Ferry prices are based now on the CAR, so if you bring two cars with two people in each car, you pay for two ferry tickets. BUT if you car share (4 people in same car), 4 people now travel under one price (as if there was one or two in the car). Could be great savings for some people. So when two people pay a total for an example of "£70  (wightlink as 29/12/22) car sharing", 4 people would split the £70.

Extra sized vehicles incure surcharges

A NOTE TO THOSE ON LATE FERRIES

AS DINNER IS FROM 6.30-8PM

* you will miss dinner at the hotel, sandwiches could be provided with advanced notification, by you one month before the event. If you have not advised, there will be no provisions and no cash refunds.

If you miss the ferry or there are delays at the Ferry Port, this is outside our control and if you miss the dinner slot, there is no compensation for missed meals.

A NOTE TO THOSE WHO MAY LEAVE THE EVENT ON SUNDAY NIGHT

AND MISS DINNER, and/OR SKIP BREAKFAST FOR AN EARLY FERRY.

If you CHOOSE to take the earlier Ferries as this is a Three Night weekender package, there is no compensation for any missed meals.

Two night packages may be available in the Royal Pier Hotel.

HOW WE INVOICE FOR BEACHROC 2023

One invoice is for the Hotel & Event Pass

a/ BeachRoc event (without Ferry) with £50pp deposit. Due within 5 days of booking invoice arriving please.  Full payment due from 10/1/23.

No Ferry charges included.

 

If you wish MJRoc to book your Ferry as well as the Hotel & Event Pass

b/ Second Invoice.

BeachRoc Ferry Only Invoice, issued once we have your request to book the ferry and then payable on Invoice.

If you book direct your ferry, you only have the  one invoice (a).

 

Deposits are £50pp, non refundable.*

Please note on each crossing there are only so many "discounted slots", so they are on a first come basis.

Booking direct will let you pick the time you want. BeachRoc will have no involvement with your ferry crossing booking.

Limited spaces only for guests of this Trouville hotel. CHARGEABLE

It is a small car park, where cars are left all weekend and no access until Monday 8am.

There are other options to Park. 

Meters and Paid car parks.

Local town free parking areas.

 

Lucky free Draw for places will take place in Mid March 2023,

only for Priority Re bookings.

Amount of spaces available in the draw will be confirmed prior to the draw.

Trouville Hotel Parking - 2022, @ £3 per car per day, minimum 3 days, very limited to 3 night bookings only. Trouville guests.

(2023 price confirmed in Feb 2023)

Royal has no car park but parking meters option close by. Nearer to the event, other parking options will be advised from Street Parking (Metered opposite the hotels or free areas in town) and IOW Council car parks.

Adding Optional Extra days to your BeachRoc Weekend, subject to availability

I am interested, if availability is possible, in extending my stay at the hotel, and note the hotel will invoice Lead Name directly.  We will not know of any available spaces until early March 2023. Please state what days you would like?

TROUVILLE HOTEL

Dates are subject to availability and can only be confirmed from late March 2022 by the hotel, when they inform BeachRoc.

The reason is they prefer to sell a 4 night package rather than one or two nights. They have groups that attend a 4 night weekday organised break. Nearer the time when they have not filled their allocation (under contract) rooms are released and this when we can snap them up. If you do wish to book a 4 night stay prior to our event,  we will see if this can be confirmed early for you.

FERRY SECTION - Car sharing

If you have people in your car, please state their full names so we can link your bookings.

This is based on people in same hotel. If there is a mix between Trouville and Royal Pier Hotel which have different owners (contracts), they will be a small admin charge for the extra admin that has to take place.

 

HOW TO PAY

There are a few ways to pay, this will be covered in your invoice letter.

Non refundable deposits are £50pp.

(Full payment is due if booking after 10th Jan 2023).
