Synod Fund for Leaders Grant Application

The Southeastern Minnesota Synod Fund for Leaders grant may cover tuition, books, fees and/or other expenses. Some of these other expenses may be taxable. Applicants should consult with their seminaries about this. Applicants must disclose whether other grants received are tuition restricted.
Candidates are eligible to apply if they:
- are enrolled at an ELCA seminary
- have received a positive Entrance Decision through the Candidacy process
- are pursuing either word and sacrament or word and service ministry in the ELCA
- will not be on a full-time internship during the upcoming year
Candidates may be engaged in either full-time or part-time seminary coursework.

In order to be considered for the scholarship for the upcoming school year, this application must be submitted by April 1.
