  • Welcome to Stronger by Design - Training & Performance! 


    The Athlete Development program - bringing individualised strength and conditioning to the group environment.


    While training 1 on 1 is great and has its place, it often leads to only having one coached session per week. Therefore, the Athlete Development Program was created, to give like-minded local and semi-professional athletes more coached hours across the week to ensure results. This presents an opportunity to have all your strength and conditioning covered across the week, eliminating barriers to complete your program effectively and safely. This gives a more personalised approach where we can share the journey together and adjust depending on your day-to-day life. 


    The mission:
    Provide a professional strength and conditioning service all year round!


    While sporting coaches are great, we specialise in getting you ready for your sport from a physical standpoint. Our role as strength and conditioning coaches is to build physical capacities needed for sports performance and injury prevention. This needs to be periodised according to your sporting season from a yearly perspective, to get you strong and robust at the right times, without creating too much workload that would impact your sporting performance. 


    Build a team away from the team whilst still completing your own personalised program:


    We aim to create an inclusive environment for all members to enjoy whilst keeping the professional edge to ensure results. Even though members complete their own program and might play different sports, culture is also important to ensure members enjoy their time in the gym, whilst in a training mindset. 


    Structure 
    New members will start with fundamentals and where competent will be progressed. There is no one size fits all when it comes to training different athletes from different sports. Therefore, each athlete is assessed differently to ensure good gym practices and efficient training. 


    All programs will be uploaded on the training app Train Heroic where progressions, data logging, and readiness surveys will be completed. Whilst in the group environment, each member will be working off their mobile phone via the app with their own program. Coaching will be provided along the way to each member wherever necessary. This provides opportunities for open discussions about their program block, issues they might be experiencing or points they feel they need to work on. As a good program will accommodate for change, these group sessions allow for more time for observation and feedback from a coaching perspective.

  • Membership details:

    The Part-Time Athlete - $85

    • 2 x strength & conditioning sessions per week with coaching supervision and instruction.
    • 1 x field session (running mechanics, speed work etc)
    • Individualised programming tailored to your goals and abilities progressing in four-week blocks.
    • Athletic testing - force plate strength + smart speed sprint testing. 
    • Monday – Thursday options @ 6:30pm + Friday @ 4:30pm 
    • Nutritional guidance (if requested)

    The Local Athlete - $95

    • 3 x strength & conditioning sessions per week with coaching supervision and instruction.
    • Individualised programming tailored to your goals and abilities progressing in four-week blocks.
    • Athletic testing - force plate strength + smart speed sprint testing.
    • Monday - Thursday options @ 6:30pm + Friday @ 4:30pm 
    • Nutritional guidance (if requested)

    The Full-Time Athlete - $120

    • 4 strength & conditioning sessions + 1 field session (running mechanics/speed work etc) per week with coaching supervision and instruction.
    • Individualised programming tailored to your goals and abilities progressing in four-week blocks.
    • Athletic testing - force plate strength + smart speed sprint testing.
    • Monday - Thursday options @ 6:30pm + Friday @ 4:30pm 
    • Nutritional guidance (if requested)
       

    Covering all athletic qualities such as: 

    • Strength 
    • Power 
    • Endurance 
    • Speed 
    • Plyometrics 
    • Change of direction
    • Acceleration / Deceleration 
    • Sprint mechanics 
    • Jumping/landing
    • Injury prevention

    Policies: 

    • Memberships will include a 8-week lock in, with 2 week's notice needed for cancelations.
    • If you cannot make a scheduled session for whatever reason, the membership still stands.
