Volunteering
Volunteers serve critical roles at the shelter. Without them, we would not be able to maintain our status as a no-kill shelter.
Our work includes basic daily care of the pets at the shelter, as well as enhancing their adoptability by providing veterinary care, socialization, and training as needed.
We do require a minimum commitment of four shifts per month, and request that you expect to honor that commitment once training is complete. You will be expected to set your schedule monthly and provide prior notification of any schedule changes.
Volunteer Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to do one scheduled shift per week
Please note that we do not participate in court-ordered or community service hour requirement programs.
