REGISTRATON DEADLINE: January 31st

FEE: $250 +HST

ELIGIBILITY:
- 15+ years of age
- Identify as a women
- Ready to train at an intermediate-inter/advanced level (if you aren’t sure, send us a message, we'll figure it out together!).
- Open to dancers with informal or formal training, across all styles of dance.
*Spots are limited and will be given on a first come/first serve basis.

*New students will be asked to submit a link to an example of your dancing - choreo or freestyle, at home/class/performance/demo reels all welcome. This is simply to help us get to know you as a mover before the program begins. Waiver and Assumption of Risk:

I/we fully understand that participation in dance classes and activities could result in personal injury or illness. I/we understand precautions have been taken by the directors Queenie Seguban, Kelly Reindorf [Gammie]), but even with such precautions accidents, injuries and illness may occur. I/we also understand that is the responsilblity of the participant or parent/legal guardian of the participant to ensure a safe at-home learning space and that proper supervision is provided for participants under 18 years of age, for online learning formats. By signing this release form, I/we (the participant or parent/legal guardian of participant) assume all risks associated with participation in all School of Groove activities. I/we agree to release from all responsibility and hold harmless the directors (Queenie Seguban, Kelly Reindorf [Gammie]), as well as any sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers and associates of School of Groove (including Queenie Seguban and Kelly Reindorf [Gammie]) from any cause of action, claims, or demands now and in the future. I/we will not hold Queenie Seguban or Kelly Reinforf [Gammie] liable for any personal injury or illness including scrapes, bruises, cuts, sprains, fractures, broken bones, concussions, contraction of Covid-19 and related complications of contracting Covid-19, death or any personal property damage/loss during the duration of the program.

Program Policies and Requirements

Fees & Payment
- All payments are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for missed classes. No refunds will be issued should the program need to move online because of government imposed restrictions/mandates that impact the feasibility of the program, whether physically or financially. Given the exclusive nature of the program, full payment is still required should a student not complete the program due to personal choice or because of disregard for program policies. Exceptions: Under the circumstances that the program cannot run to due to low enrollment, participants will be notified and a full refund will be issued. If SOG concludes the program cannot continue in person OR online, a credit will be issued for future programs.
- If payment is late, participants may be temporarily suspended from programming until resolved. Any concerns about a late payment should be communicated to Queenie and Kelly at schoolofgrooveinfo@gmail.com in advance of the payment deadline.
Attendance and Absences:
- Because of the progressive nature of the program, we STRONGLY recommend being present for the entirety of the program. Make up classes will not be available. SOG's directors and choreographers reserve the right to minimize the role of any participant with absences in the final video project in order to ensure the quality of the learning environment/experience for the rest of the class.
- When possible, please communicate any absences 24 hours in advance of the expected missed class by emailing schoolofgrooveinfo@gmail.com
- SOG follows the current COVID-19 guidelines as outlined by Toronto Public Health. Please help keep our community well.
Substitutions and Cancellations
- If Queenie, Kelly or a guest instructor cannot attend due to illness, injury or other reasons, SOG will select another qualified teacher to substitute
- If SOG cannot operate in studio due to extreme weather or health and safety concerns regarding COVID 19, the program will move to an online or outdoor format until we are able to return to in-studio classes.
- If SOG must cancel a class due to an emergency, illness, technical challenges (in online classes), or other another reason, a make-up session of equal time will be scheduled on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

Photo/Media Release

I understand that as part of my or my child’s participation in School of Groove programming, photos and recordings may be taken and used for promotional use of the program by School of Groove or third parties authorized by School of Groove. Photos, videos and other reproductions of my or my child’s physical likeness may be used for broadcast on television/radio, website, or any other video or audio tapes and in magazines, newspapers and other printed materials.
