  • The Madison Black Chamber of Commerce is excited to present the 11th Annual Black Restaurant Week, a celebration of the rich culinary talent, culture, and entrepreneurship of Black-owned food and beverage businesses across South Central Wisconsin.

    An event of this size depends on the support of dedicated community volunteers. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to help make our signature event a success by assisting with various event activities throughout the week, including the Food Taste Jamboree and the Heirloom Collards Competition. As a thank you for supporting the $5 Food Taste Jamboree, volunteers assigned to Jamboree shifts will receive two food tasting tickets to enjoy before or after their scheduled shift.

  • The Holiday Black Bazaar features over 40 vendors, photos with Black Santa, and the annual meeting of the Madison Black Chamber of Commerce!   

    Event Date: Saturday, December 14

    Event Location: Orpheum Theatre, 216 State St, Madison

    9-11am: Vendor Move In
    11:30am-1pm: Annual Meeting of the Madison Black Chamber of Commerce
    1:00pm: VIP Shopping
    2-6pm: Bazaar
    6-8pm: Vendor Move Out

    We're looking for volunteers to get vendors settled in, greet and orient guests, and help Santa manage the lines of excited kids waiting to share their Christmas wish lists! 


  • The Madison Black Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the 7th Annual Black Business Awards Dinner, a prestigious event recognizing and celebrating the exceptional achievements of Black-owned businesses across South Central Wisconsin.

    An event of this scope and size depends upon the community for success. We're looking for volunteers to ensure that all facets of our sole annual fundraiser run smoothly. 

    DATE: Thursday, February 20, 2025
    VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: 9am - Midnight
    LOCATION: Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center

    Volunteers will receive a commemorative token of our appreciation. Volunteers may qualify for discounted tickets to the Black Business Awards program. Details available at the volunteer orientation!
