  • This form is always open, feel free to make a submission and we'll be in contact within a few weeks.

Please have a careful read through the following information before submitting the form.

    BOOKING TYPES

    1. Flash: An available design, or any design/drawing from Instagram. Flash pieces are tattooed once only, so if a piece you like has been taken, you can request a Modified Flash piece.
    2. Modified Flash: Choose this if you like a flash design but its already taken, or if you like a given piece but want to make some changes, add or remove content. In some instances, the origial flash design will remain available for someone to get as is.
    3. Custom: This can be anything - your idea drawn in my style. All ideas are welcome, limitations apply.
    4. Free-form/Markmaking:This is a design that is built on the day with you:
We’ll discuss the placement, size/space and type of line (weight/texture, etc), previous Mark-making work is used a visual guide/reference. I'll print a series of lines and marks, they’re cut out and taped to the body in an intuitive and reactionary way. This is where we get a good idea of the design, and the space it occupies. we remain at this stage rearranging the lines and marks until we’re both happy to proceed.
The next stage is to remove the cutout taped lines from the body and make them into a stencil, which we re-place onto the body, this is when you will see the design as close to what it will be when it’s tattooed. At this stage we have further discussion about the design specifics, line texture, line weight, how I think certain parts will be tattooed, what we like/don’t like, etc etc. Once we’re both happy we begin the tattoo.
During the tattoo I like to be able to move freely within the previously discussed boundaries, there are spontaneous moments that happen within the tattoo process, small lines and marks/movements of the hand that find their way into the design, these are organic inclusions, how and when and why these marks happen is unknown but it will be explained and discussed before any spontaneous or unplanned marks are tattooed.
    5. Consult: Maybe you have a vague idea and want to talk, ask for a consult and we can chat about designs. If you book a large scale design, or something that’s a bit complicated to discuss via email, I’ll generally book us a consult before a tattoo session. If you’re anxious about tattoo spaces, a consult is a nice opportunity to vibe check too.

    QUOTING/BUDGETING:
Flash/Modified Flash are priced per design, not by the hour.
Custom work is priced similarly to flash, but a drawing fee is added to the price.
I will always be able to provide a quote range for Flash/Mod-Flash and Custom work.

    Freehand pricing is as follows:

    • Hand size - $380 - 580
    • Double hand size - $580 - 720
    • Anything bigger or a full day - $720-1200

Note: all pricing specified above is a guide, actual cost is determined by size, time, placement, and a plethora of other lovely varaiables. Always happy to discuss budgets to work within a set maximum cost, in some instances a sliding scale is implemented to ensure certain work is accessible (pertaining to cover-ups, working over scaring, etc).

    LARGER PIECES:
Bigger piece, multiple session tattoos get full day bookings. You can also request a full day if there a handful of flash designs you’d like to get, we can just tattoo as many as we can fit in a day.

Once you've submitted this form my admin assisstant Leili and I will read over your responses and take a look at my calendar to assess whether the project is suitable for me to take on at this time, and how soon an appointment can be offered. We aim to be in contact within a couple of weeks of your submission

Once we've offered you a date, Crucible requires a $100 deposit via Paypal or cash in person to secure your appointment time, which is then deducted off of the final cost of your tattoo. A $200 deposit is required for large scale tattoos / full day bookings. The full terms and conditions of the deposit are available here.

If you would like to book for you and a friend on the same day please fill out separate forms and make a note at the end. Please note we are unable to accomodate double bookings on weekends as the studio is too packed for more than one client to be present at any given time.

  • Pricing depends on the size and placement of the piece, as well as the complexity of the design. It's helpful for us to have an idea of your budget going into the drafting process, but if you're not sure you're welcome to just leave this blank, and we can get back to you with an estimate based on the details you've provided :)

  • Adam currently tattoos on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 11:30am to 6:00pm.

Saturdays are by far the most highly requested day, you're more likely to be tattooed sooner if you have weekday availability.

If you're booking with a friend, please note that we are unable to accomodate double bookings on Saturdays, as the studio is too packed to fit more than one client in at any given time.

Let us know what your availability is like across those days, otherwise if you have specific availability there's space for you to inform us below :)
